Best back-to-school sales for the new school year

Unless your child has started school already, you and your family are probably busy enjoying the rest of the beautiful summer season. However, retailers have already had back-to-school sales running for weeks now. There are some really incredible deals and sales out there to be had. Did you know that the average family spends approximately $500 on back-to-school clothes and supplies? This is according to a Deloitte survey done in 2020 that sought to find out how much parents spent. If you want 2021 to be easier on your wallet, check out these back-to-school sales!

Best back-to-school sales

Carter’s

If you have a little one that is headed into pre-school or kindergarten, then you will definitely want to check out the sales at Carter’s. They even offer tween clothing through their sister website, Osh Kosh B’Gosh, too. They are having a 50% off sale on their entire website. For example, this Space Jersey Tee is down to $9 from $20, which is a savings of over 50%. For the cooler weather, they have hoodies, including a Floral Logo Fleece Hoodie for $27, a savings of almost $10. They also have doorbuster deals that begin at $5.

Kohl’s

If you have Kohl’s Cash saved up, this would be a wonderful time to use it. Kohl’s is having many sales that you may want to take advantage of. Backpacks are beginning at up to 25%. This Mario Bros. 5-piece Backpack Set is only $24.99, a savings of $15. Uniforms are also on sale if you need to pick some of those up. The Girl’s School Uniform Fit & Flare Short-Sleeved Dress is originally $30 and is now only $18. Even certain kids’ tees are on sale, like this Boys Jumping Beans® NASA Raglan Graphic Tee, coming in at $14, where the sale is buy one, get one 50% off.

Target

Head on over to Target to find some deep, deep discounts on school supplies. With items like these Cap Erasers 25ct – up & up™, at only $0.49 for a pack of 25, it’s an item you cannot beat and you definitely want to have in your cart. You can also save 20% on lunch bags as well. This Fortnite Emote Lunch Kit is only $11.43, down from $14.29. Girl’s activewear from All in Motion™ is $6.00. These will make for great gym clothes or just for playing outside.

Walmart

The large retailer has quite a few sales that you might want to check out. If your child is going to start using a calculator, the Pen + Gear 12-Digit Mini Desktop Calculator is only $4.16. Tech essentials for them begin at only $15. If a new laptop is needed to perform their homework or take notes on, the Lenovo Chromebook Flex is a cool $175.00. It is a touchscreen laptop that even flips around so they can use it as a tablet if they wanted to. You can write reminders on the Pen + Gear Magnetic Dry Erase Board for only $1.97. Walmart also has a tool where parents can find the list of back-to-school items that they will need for their district and grade.

Bed Bath & Beyond

Speaking of college, Bed Bath & Beyond has an amazing amount of items on sale for those that are going to be living in a dorm or in an apartment. They even have checklists for them, too. Their deals, though, are something you want to take a look at. The Keurig® K-Mini Plus™ Single Serve K-Cup® Pod Coffee Maker is only $60, down from $99.99, giving you a savings of almost 40%. It’s the perfect addition to a dorm room kitchen. When it’s time for them to clean up, the Shark® Rocket® Corded Stick Vacuum gives them a great tool to do that. It is $159.99, whereas it usually is nearly $200.

As the back-to-school season inches closer, there are going to be plenty of sales where you will be able to find amazing deals, but these are the hottest deals of the moment. (Please note that prices may change over time.) They will help you get your child prepared for school, without you having to spend a large sum of money. It would definitely be prudent to take advantage of all of the sales that you can when it comes to back-to-school shopping.
